🛠️Setting up your WiseReviews

To begin using WiseReviews, follow these steps:

1. Import reviews (required).

2. Install review widgets (required).

3. Customize widgets (optional).

Installing review widgets

To enable review widgets, you need to ensure that your WiseReviews app embed and app blocks are enabled.

There are two important steps to make sure that the widgets will show in your store.

1. Clicking "Enable app embed" will redirect you to the Shopify theme editor and will show the app embed settings. Make sure that the WiseReviews app embed is enabled, and click the Save button located in the upper right corner.

2. Clicking "Enable app blocks" will redirect you to the Shopify theme editor. This will allow you to place the widgets wherever you want. Make sure to save your changes.

Here are the 3 types of widgets you can enable:

• Star rating: This can be added under the product title on the product pages or collection page.

• Product reviews: This can be added on the product pages. It supports showing product reviews and shop reviews.

• Featured reviews: A carousel-type widget. This can be added on product pages or the homepage.

Demo on how to enable app embed and app blocks

If you don't see the app blocks, you are probably using an older Shopify theme version. This needs to be installed on your theme manually. Follow Installing Review Widgets Manually, or contact support if you need assistance.
